This installer consists of a plugin to MS Word for the building of RTF templates and the Template Viewer, for testing and debugging all templates.
Use the following URL to download the client :
http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/xml-publisher/xmlpclient.html
Once download completes, unzip the file and just run the Setup program, which will guide you through the steps in installation.
Once the installation is complete, run MS Word.
As you can see, it creates a Toolbar and a Menu. Explore through these to get to know more of it options and capabilities.

I follwed the same procedure to install the XML publisher desktop.
Still toolbar is not coming.
Could you help me out if we need to do some setting with MS word.

After installation open any word document and do the following steps
1>. Goto Tools-->Templates and Add-Ins...
2>. Check the TemplateBuilder.dot in Global templates and Add-ins

I have a XML PUBLISHER on the issue would like to ask you, I tried to create a chart with the statements of the PDF in the use of local XML Publisher Desktop may preview the right to see the chart, but when the server-side after the implementation of the resulting PDF In the chart is part of the blank part of the text can still show the normal, what you have come across such a problem?! I'm encountered error when I click on 'Preview --> PDF'. Got error Windows cannot find 'C:\PROGRA~1\Oracle\XML'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search.Please ..please help me.... -Yusz, Malaysia
